Supplies Needed:
Sun Hat:
-1 4 yd (44 wide) fabric such as sear sucker
-1 8 yard lining fabric

Bathing Suit:
-1 4 yd stretch nylon or Lycra
-1 8 yd stretch nylon or Lycra in contrast color
-4 of clear plastic elastic, cut in half lengthwise to make 2 narrower pieces
-24 butcher string

Cover Up:
-2 3 yd of soft, airy fabric such as a lacy knit or gauze
-24 butcher string
-1 package lace hem tape (if serger is unavailable) – match the color to the fabric

 

Skill Level:  Easy to intermediate
