Description

The Popsicle Top is a simple, loose tank top that is easy to sew, and pairs perfectly with the Sixth Grade Skirt. You can make it reversible for double the looks! With a hook and loop tape closure in back, it s easy on and off for little hands. This pattern is also a perfect starter pattern for girls that want to learn to sew for their dolls, or for more experienced seamstresses to make a basic doll wardrobe with lots of options.

This classic but simple top is very easily made from a quarter yard of fabric (quilter s fat quarters work great!) in a woven cotton or other lightweight fabric. Mix and match your fabrics and trims for unlimited design options.

This pattern was specifically designed and tested on 16 Disney (R) Animator sized dolls. Please measure and test the fit on your own doll as there are many on the market and it may not fit the same on all of them.  

This classic top pattern is available in 6 fun sizes, designed to fit 18 dolls such as American Girl®, Disney® Animators, Hearts For Hearts Girls®, 14.5 inch dolls such as WellieWishers™, 15 dolls such as Bitty Baby® and 16  A Girl For All Time® dolls. 

Recommended Fabrics:  quilter s cotton, lightweight cotton, eyelet, seersucker

Supplies Needed:
-1 4 yard of cotton, or other lightweight fabric
-14 inches of lace or trim (trim should be reversible if making a reversible top)
-2-3 inches of hook and loop tape
-Sewing Thread
-Safety Pin
