If you ever wanted to try your hand at making shoes for your Little Darling doll, this is the pattern for you. It s a great beginner pattern by Love U Bunches. Minimal sewing, a little bit of glue, really cute shoes! It s also a great way to use up scraps from your stash. It only takes a little bit of fabric to make an awesome pair of shoes. And NO hot glue! You can make shoes to match every outfit! Your doll is going to need a bigger closet!

This PDF sewing pattern is specifically designed to fit  Dianna Effner s 13 Little Darling dolls.  This pattern is also available for 18 dolls such as American Girl®,  A Girl For All Time®, Journey Girls®,  WellieWishers™ and Kidz N Cats® dolls.

Pair these adorable shoes with the Crabapples School Girl dress for a one of a kind outfit.

Recommended Fabrics:  Light weight tightly woven fabric such as cotton lawn, silk dupioni, light weight cotton, batiste

Supplies Needed:
-Main fabric: 8 x 4 light weight tightly woven fashion fabric
-Fabric for shoe lining: 8 x 4 light to very light weight tightly woven fashion fabric
-Matching sewing thread
-Insoles: Thick craft fusible interfacing: 3 x 3 . (The examples were made using Pellon® Peltex 71F single-sided fusible ultra firm stabilizer.) Optional: Instead of interfacing, use cardboard and glue
-Soles: 2 mm craft foam: 3 x 3 section
-Thick, fast-drying glue such as Aleene s® Super Thick Tacky Glue or Fast Grab Tacky Glue
-Fabric glue stick
-Marking tools: Fine point disappearing ink or water soluble fabric pen; Fine point chalk maker for dark fabrics
-Embellishments: Bows, beads, trim, narrow cording, elastic
-Optional: Small piece of coarse sandpaper or nail file to smooth foam edges, nylon jaw pliers, clothes pins or office clamps
