A simple wrap Cheongsam – a quick to make Chinese dress. The dress features dolman style sleeves and the edges are finished off with bias binding. It closes with snaps in the front. This is an easy PDF pattern to sew if you use cotton fabric and is great to teach a beginner to sew on bias binding.

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18 dolls such as American Girl®.  It is also available for 14-14.5 dolls, A Girl For All Time® dolls and Disney® Animators . 

Recommended Fabrics:  Chinese brocade, Brocade, Satin, Cotton

Supplies Needed:
-Dress Fabric – 16”
-Bias Binding – Satin or lame – 65” (165cm)
-4 Clear Sew on snaps – Size 3
-Thread
-Fabric Pencil or Pen Marker
-Iron and ironing board
-Optional: Microtex Needle

Skill Level:  Easy to Intermediate
