Back in the 1960s the surfing scene was trending. A man named Dave Rochlen designed a style of swim trunks specifically for surfers, which he called, Jams. But it wasn t long before they became popular on the sand as well as the surf, and soon a girls version began to show up. They were affectionately called, Jellies, and followed the basic Jams line but with ruffled legs and, of course, a top.
This Flossie Potter Easy PDF sewing pattern was resized from the popular larger size so it now fits 16 dolls such as A Girl for All Time®. The pattern will show you how to create your own Jellies with 14 pages of instructions and full-color illustrations, 3 pages of printable summary instructions (to save on printer ink!), and 3 pages of full-sized pattern pieces.
Special Note – This pattern is designed to fit A Girl For All Time® Dolls specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl®. An AGAT doll is 16 inches tall and has a slimmer hard plastic body. You can see more info on our Doll Measurements page.

-10 inches of 1 8 elastic
-1 inch of Hook-and-loop tape
-7 inches of fine cord
-Needle for hand stitching
