Description

The  Liberty Jane Harajuku Station Skirt will be sure to delight your 11-1 2” Fashion Doll such as Barbie Fashionista or Disney Princess (both pictured modeling the skirts). Harajuku is the street fashion of Japanese punk rock influenced youth. Their inspiration is anime and album covers, and their mecca is the park next to Harajuku Station in Tokyo. And thanks to Gwen Stefanie, this sub-culture went pop culture as she shared it with the west on tours, videos, and commercial clothes and fragrances. Liberty Jane has translated this fun style into a cute doll size outfit, Harajuku Station, and now you can make this fun mini-skirt quickly and easily following our full color step by step instructions! The skirt design includes a drop waist yoke with a flat front waistband (similar to the KNC mini skirt) with an elastic back portion. The ruffle can be sewn with or without the tulle layer, providing a variety of looks! Complete the look with a top made from the T-Shirt Variations Pattern (available separately).

Suggested fabrics include: Woven cotton, taffeta, satin, lightweight denim, and rayon

Supplies Needed:
-1 8 yard of fabric 
-1 8 yard tulle (optional)
-1 8” elastic 1-3 4” piece
-Matching or contrasting thread
