The princess-seamed dress offers three variations that combine together to create many different looks: a school dress with a wide collar, a graceful square-necked dress with bell-shaped sleeves, and a minimalist-style shift that can showcase graphic prints and color blocking. One pattern can create a wardrobe for all her special occasions! Additional features include two sets of cutting lines to accommodate older, larger-sized dolls, as well as newer, slimmer models. Three sleeve options and two neckline variations offer many ways to create unique and versatile combinations. Now pull on those GoGo Boots and start sewing! 

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18 American Girl® dolls.

 Recommended Fabrics:  Medium-weight fabrics such as quilter s cotton, lightweight corduroy, lightweight denim, dupioni silk, or other similar fabrics.

Option 1: 1 3 yd. 45 wide fabric for Dress; ¼ yd. 45 wide fabric for Collar and Facing
Option 2: ½ yd. 45 wide fabric
Option 3: ½ yd. 45 wide fabric

Notions Supplies:
1. Matching thread and optional contrast thread for topstitching
2. Two to three medium-sized snaps OR two 4 pieces of thin ¼” wide hook and loop tape
3. One pair of small, very sharp scissors to trim seam allowances.
4. Fray Check
5. (Option 1 only) two ¼ buttons
6. (Option 1 only) optional ribbon for neckline bow (about 9 )
