Description

These adorable blouses, by Little Miss Muffett, are lined and fitted, and come to just below the waistline. The three necklines offered are soft and wide, and deep enough to allow a necklace to sit comfortably. The shallow sweetheart neckline has an optional bow; the round neckline with gathered lace has a tiny, dangly ribbon bow, and the scoop neckline has a ruffled, buttoned placket. The puff sleeves are fitted and cuffed with fabric cut on the bias for extra ease. These versatile blouses will look great with so many outfits and are a must for any 18-inch Miss’ wardrobe. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®. 

This pattern can also be purchased as part of a bundle with the Basking in Ruffles pattern.

Supplies Needed:
Fabric Used: I used Quilter’s Cotton and Broderie Anglais for my blouses and lined them with Lightweight cotton.

Fabric Requirements:
Blouse – All Views: Quilter’s Cotton – 11” x 22”
Lining: Lightweight Cotton or Lining fabric of choice – 7” x 20”

Notions:
Lace: View 2 – 25” x 1” wide
Lace: View 3 – 16” x 7 8” wide
Buttons: Blouse View 3 (Doll-sized buttons are available from Pixie Faire) – 3 x ¼” wide
hook and loop tape: 4 ½” x 3 8” wide
Ribbon Bow: View 1 – 5” x ¼” wide
Long Dangly Bow: View 2 – 10” x 1 8” wide

Matching Thread, Marking Pen, Point Turner, Clear Tape, general sewing supplies.
A ‘Universal Sewing Needle – 80 10’, a Walking Foot, a General Purpose Foot and a ¼” Foot are used during the sewing process.
