Design details include:
Both View A & B – Sweetheart neckline, lined bodice, back hook and loop closure.
View A features a pieced bubble skirt, creating a fun mix of coordinating fabrics. The bubble skirt is tucked and scrunched up for added interest. The skirt is designed to be pieced together in 3-4 coordinating fabrics.
View B features a simplified design, a one-piece gathered skirt. Simple to sew, but oh so pretty!
The dress is designed to be worn over a t-shirt, tank top, or blouse. The featured examples show it with the free Trendy t-shirt, the Summer in Paris Top, and the Little Miss Muffett Breezy Dayz Jacket patterns each available separately.
Supplies Needed:
- 1 4-1 3 yard of fabric. The dress can be cut from all one fabric or pieced together with coordinating fabrics.
- 1 8 yard lining fabric (or it can be self-lined)
- 14 piece of trim for bodice
- 1 4 -1 2 slide style buckle to make the belt
- 14 piece of ribbon or trim for belt
- Thread
- Sewing machine
- Pressing tools
- Point turner
