-1 4 yard or fat quarter woven fabric (cotton, lightweight twill, lightweight denim, etc.)
-5-inch long piece of 1 4-inch wide elastic
-Thread
-Safety pin for inserting elastic
Optional Materials:
-Coordinating or contrasting scraps of fabric for trim, ruffle, pockets, and or waist facings
-Mini buttons or decorative buttons
-Purchased trim such as rickrack, gathered lace, etc. to use as trim
