Description

Amelie is an open-front cardigan with twisted rib details, including a Seven Sisters cable down the center back. Its pieces are knit flat and feature an interesting (but not difficult) construction.  The fronts are made of one long piece that s draped up and around the neck. The back is knit top-down by picking up stitches along the back neck of that piece. A background of reverse stockinette stitch offsets the twisted stitches. Slip stitches form a neat edge on fronts, sleeve cuffs and sweater bottom.  This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls with an 11” chest circumference.

-1 ball of Drops Baby Merino – 100% Merino extra fine wool superwash; Fingering weight
(191 yards per 50 gram ball). Color 01 White.
