Description

This tunic is fun and quick to make. It can be created with scraps left over from other projects. This PDF sewing pattern by JenAshley Doll Designs can be made your way with two flounce choices or a cute ruffle. Make the longer length option to wear with leggings, jeggings, skinny jeans, or capris. The shorter length is great to pair with shorts. The most difficult part of this project is deciding what colors and prints you want to use!

Recommended Fabrics:  Interlock or t-shirt knit for front midsection, back, neckband, sleeves, and sleeve bands. Knit or light weight woven fabric for yoke, pocket, and flounce ruffle. Tulle for ruffle and or yoke overlay  

Supplies Needed:
Materials:
-1 4 yard of knit fabric for the back, front midsection, neckband, sleeves, and sleeve bands
-1 4 yard, fat quarter, or rectangle (9 inches long X 13 inches wide) of knit or light weight woven fabric for the flounce
The ruffle option requires a 31 inch wide piece of fabric.
-Scraps of knit or woven fabric for the yoke and pocket
-Matching or contrasting thread
-6 – 8.5 inches of 1 4 or 3 8 inch wide hook and loop tape 

Optional Materials:
-About 1 yard tiny pom-pom or lace trim for the flounce or ruffle hem
-Tulle for tunic with ruffled tulle (2 strips 30 inches X 2 inches)
-1 2 yard of 2 inch wide pre-gathered lace to use in place of fabric for ruffle
-Lace to use as overlay on yoke
