This cute skirt was featured in both the 2012 Outback Libby: Roebuck Bay Outfit and the more recent Paradise outfit and is sure to be a hit! The pattern includes 3 design options. View A includes an exposed elastic waistband, pintuck detailing, inset trim, and a delicate hemline trim. View B includes a simplified version great for a beginning seamstress! The skirt is just one piece sewn to the exposed elastic waistband. View C is a combination of A & B, a darling skirt with inset trim detail, but no pintucks. Any of these design options will be a great addition to your dolls wardrobe and will fit a variety of 18 dolls such as – American Girl® (and other similar size dolls), Journey Girls, and 21 Karito Kids. The elastic waist provides a very simple adjustable fit! Finished skirt measures 5 from top of elastic to hem.
Suggested fabrics for View A & C include: lightweight woven fabrics, such as batiste, cotton lawn, lightweight quilting cottons.
Suggested fabrics for View B include: All the above mentioned fabrics plus – rayon challis, silky fabrics, lace, stretch velvet, chiffon, lightweight knits, and others with a soft flowing drape.
