Description

This hat is perfect for strolling the decks of the Titanic or wandering the gardens of Downton Abbey. This PDF pattern is surprisingly easy to make, with complete instructions to transform an ordinary 9 straw hat into this elaborate creation.

The brim of the hat is covered with a fabric that gently tucks around the edge, and the inside of the hat is completely lined. The crown of the hat is edged with a pleated ruffle made from coordinating fabric. Silk flowers, tulle, ribbon, and an ostrich feather complete the elegant look.
