When making doll clothing, a lot of us avoid buttonholes because they are difficult to get just right. With these embroidery designs, however, perfect, beautiful buttonholes can be stitched at the edge of a garment, starting at 1 8 away from the edge, all the way to 1 2 away. They can be perfectly spaced vertically at the following measurements: 3 8 , 1 2 , 5 8 , 3 4 , 7 8 , 1 , 1 1 8 , and 1-1 4 apart. Or for buttonholes that aren t quite stitched at these intervals, you can choose a design that will let you space them a smidge closer or farther apart.
